A. What is a home warranty?
A home warranty is a service contract that allows you to have coverage for any major breakdown on your home. For your major systems in your home the contract is for one (1) or two (2) years.
B. I have Homeowner’s insurance. Why do I need a home warranty?
Homeowner’s insurance covers fires, floods if in your policy, vandalism, and any major storm damages. Your homeowners insurance doesn’t cover your Appliances, Heating & A/C, Electrical, Plumbing, Roof Leaks, and Rotten Wood.
C. Who will handle break downs?
All of our work will be serviced through our sister company HT Homes and our approved contractors in our network. There will be no strangers just showing up shaking your hand who you have never seen or met who they work for. Here at HTHW, life is made simple. While the Inspectors are out to inspect your home, feel free to ask about any renovation projects or any home improvement needs you may have.
D. How much will I have to pay for each visit?
Each visit cost the same thing each time; our prices do not change.
E. If I have a problem with something that’s covered, what is the next step?
